Away for Christmas!

Posted by Scott and Ana Wester

Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
Most of the EOC staff are home with family this Dec & first part of Jan, although we are being visited by two groups the week between Christmas & New Years.

Hillcrest Bible Church is coming on their first Mexico Missions trip (with almost 100 people), from Wisconsin! Going out into the community in a number of ways; building two houses, partnering with a local church to coordinate a VBS (vacation bible school), hosting a medical clinic & distributing food, school supplies & toiletries! Wow that's quite a first trip.

The Vine will also be joining us from southern California; working with Randy & Sandi Heubert (friends from Alberta Canada) reaching out to families in the migrant farm camps surrounding Ensenada. They will be helping with a number of ministry projects.

The first three weekends of December we had the pleasure of hosting groups from Hands of Mercy (a fellow missions ministry in Ensenada) and one of their primary churches Trinity EV Free of Redlands, California. (also great friends of ours) They distributed literaly thousands of gifts "Project Joy" in a number of communities, including 1,700 this past weekend. As well there were a number of their homes built this month, for local families.
Check out their awesome website in the links section!

It is pure Joy to witness the body of Christ working together for the glory of the Kingdom!
Merry Christmas.

How did you spend your Thanksgiving?

Posted by Scott and Ana Wester

We enjoyed hosting a Thanksgiving feast @ EOC for friends from three nations; Canada, USA & Mexico.

After our feast; Ana, Gagan (volunteer intern), Kayliegh (volunteer intern) & Diana, drove to a local church to assist other local youth in preparing burritos & coffee; to distribute to local families waiting at a local hospital emergency room.
They were also joined by Daniel & Angela (YUGO missionary) Camacho.

God Bless you & yours
